GorbGreenII Template [v2.0.5] for phpbb v2.0.21

5. 1.1.1 to 1.1.2 - 19th of August 2003 - An very serious error in the profile_add_body.tpl which made new registrations impossible fixed. Sincerer apologies for this. I can only imagine how much trouble it may have caused. Thanks to Bubazoo for pointing it out.

6. 2.0, 22nd of May 2004 - Complete rewrite.

7. 2.0.1, 22nd of November 2004 - Updated for phpbb 2.0.11 compatibility. One file change. admin/board_config_body.tpl

8. 2.0.2 - 22nd Febuary 2005 - Updated for phpbb 2.0.12.

   • Replaced , admin/index_body.tpl, in order to work with phpbb 2.0.12
   • Update in both simple and overall footer tpl files to the phpbb copyright dates.

9. 2.0.3 - 31st of October 2005 [current Version] - Updated for phpbb 2.0.18.

   Updated for phpbb 2.0.18. The default SubSilver template had the following TPL files changed not all these were necessary changes for jasidog templates s these parts were already altered, but I forget which ones were applicable.

   However only the admin folder tpl files were crucial to any phpbb template for 2.0.18. The rest were small HTML changes/fixes. If it worked before you can bet it will work now without those changes.

   So in short if you have a heavily modified board, you could just replace those admin TPL files listed above with their subSilver equivalents.

10. Version 2.0.4 - 20th of Febuary 2006

    Updated for phpbb 2.0.19 wih only two changes.

    • templates/chairs/admin/index_body.tpl
    • templates/chairs/admin/board_config_body.tpl

    Both files replaced with the subsilver versions from phpbb 2.0.19. As a result you can easily make this update yourself if you have a modded board.

11. Version 2.0.5 - 11th of June 2006

    Updated for phpbb 2.0.21 with only two changes.

    • templates/chairs/admin/confirm_body.tpl
    • templates/chairs/admin/board_config_body.tpl

    Both files replaced with the subsilver versions from phpbb 2.0.21. As a result you can easily make this update yourself if you have a modded board.

There's no restrictions on use or editing, all that is expected and requiered is that the link, copyright and referance to Jasidog.com in the footer remains unaltered unless permission given. No redistribution without prior consent please.

General Info

GorbGreenII is reasonably faithful to the original GorbGreen but still a huge transitional change.

The colours and icon shapes remain. The general layout is very similar. However version two has no common code or graphics with the original. It's been rewritten from the ground up.

This being said most of the HTML was rewritten for another purpose another available template named KDM2 which the GorbGreenII structure was based on

So there was never an intention to update Gorbgreen, however KDM2 seemed to fit so well the concept of Gorbgreen that it was an easy thing to do. It is not however KDM2 with different colours. The HTML and Graphics and CSS are significantly different

It's very recognizable as GorbGreen but also very different from the last version. Much neater and tidier. Though no as nice as KDM2 in my opinion.

Included with the template are language graphics for French, German, Italian, Dutch and Spanish. It's plausible more coud be added to the site at some later point. If they are requested.

If you change the footer imagery please insert a text link to Jasidog.com and phpbb.com

I'm assuming you know how to install a skin ;)

Making your own header

Included in the GorbGreenII.zip is the folder to install the skin, as well as a folder within this which contains this readme. It also contains a zip file with a logo PSD and a blank logo gif for those without paint shop pro. Evidently you found it or you couldn't be reading this. :-D

It should be noted that if you aim to customise the header much you will need to do a fair bit of work as quite a few different elements (HTML,CSS,IMAGES) all define the appearance currently.
